Emmy Award Winner Derek Hough To Present At The 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs

Emmy award winner, Derek Hough, has just been added as an official presenter at the 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs.

As a professional choreographer, dancer, actor, and singer, you may recognize Hough from Dancing with the Stars, Footloose: The Musical, Hairspray Live!, and Nashville. This year, Hough also appears on NBC’s World of Dance, where he acts as a judge alongside Jennifer Lopez, Jenna Dewan, and Ne-Yo. As a dancer known for his superior Latin and Ballroom techniques, Hough is certainly not one to shy away from presenting.

Though dancing is one of his strong suits, late last year, Hough took a break to explore his other talents. Releasing the song, “Hold On” and directing the corresponding music video, Hough touched upon his feelings about the seriousness of mental health.

Currently, Hough is touring America performing his first-ever solo live dance show. Featuring new stage production, Hough showcases various dance styles––including ballroom, tap, salsa, and hip-hop.

In addition to Derek Hough, today’s announcement also includes presenters Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Sonequa Martin-Green, Tyra Banks, Prince Michael Jackson. Today’s performer announcement included Meghan Trainor, Kris Wu, and 5 Seconds Of Summer, who join previously announced performers Alessia Cara, Halsey, and Marshmello featuring Anne-Marie.

The 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs go down Sunday, August 26 at 9ET/7MT on CTV and Much.
